We founded Maiia Swimwear Collection with one goal in mind: giving our customers a fair, rewarding and enjoyable shopping experience. Our store policies are detailed below, please have a look and contact us to learn more!
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE MY SUIT?
We offer quick ship and made to order items. All our swimsuits are custom made with you own stats.
*If you are on a deadline, please email us so we can see about accommodation your date. Often times we can, so just ask us :)
QUICK SHIP SUITS:
In stock in our Murray Hill, Manhattan studio, New York City, USA. These will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Often times we have more quick ships that are not online. Send us an email for the latest in stock styles.
Quick ships ordered with made to order suits will ship together unless separate shipping postage is paid.
MADE TO ORDER:
7-14 business days for production time and often times less. If you are on a deadline please let us know. If there is no confirmed deadline and we are running longer than anticipated we will touch base with you :) *Large orders may require extra time.
Normally around 6-8 weeks and are either stated on the website listing or are custom requests that were custom ordered via your request.
Cancellations MUST be made within 24 hours of your purchase. Items will be prepped for production within 24 hours and then cannot be changed or canceled after this period.
PREPPING FOR SHIPMENT:
You will receive an email confirmation when your order is being prepared for shipment, which will include your tracking information.
Orders are shipped from our Murray Hill, Manhattan Studio location
GENERAL TRACKING AND DOMESTIC: - ALL ORDERS WILL BE SENT WITH TRACKING INFORMATION FOR YOU TO CHECK ONLINE WITH THE CORRESPONDING COURIER'S WEBSITE. ONCE YOUR ORDER IS PREPPED FOR SHIPMENT, YOU WILL RECEIVE A TRACKING NUMBER FROM OUR AUTOMATED SYSTEM. IT MAY TAKE A DAY OR TWO FOR PICK UP AS WE PREP MANY ORDERS IN QUEUE AND AWAIT OUR SERVICE TO COME AND TAKE THEM TO THEIR NEW HOME! Once the order ships from us, IT IS NOT our responsibility to track each package and is the property of the purchaser. Tracking numbers will automatically be e-mailed once the order is prepped for shipment. All packages are sent with signature at delivery. We have had issues of stolen packages on doorsteps etc. This is for the safety of the package and to ensure it gets delivered to the correct recipient.
***Maiia Swimwear is not responsible for any packages lost or stolen in the mail. Every customer will receive an order number as well as the tracking number when their order has been shipped out. Once you have received this information, it is no longer the responsibility of Maiia Swimwear.
Your order may be subject to VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your country for it's delivery.
- We ship your order with taxes unpaid, so please take note if you will occur any charges as we are not responsible for them. If you do incur these additional charges, they must be rendered in order for your package to clear customs.This is standard for most online purchasing with any company. If you do not pay these taxes or your package is UNCLAIMED, you will NOT be given any refunds if the items are not paid for and collected. This is the buyers responsibility and unclaimed items due to non payment of VAT tax will not be refunded.

For items that come back to us being either unclaimed at customs or the wrong address or information was given to us, a store credit will then be issued MINUS any costs that have occurred to us for the order (i.e. shipping and handling costs).

Since Maiia Swimwear is HANDMADE, ALL sales are FINAL, however we do accept exchanges of size and or style on full priced items up to 20% off. Items with a discount over 20% off or sample sale items are FINAL SALE. Exchanges must be sent back within 7 business days of receipt. Items MUST be unworn/unwashed, have tags attached and liners in place (please try on swimwear over underwear)- If we receive a suit that has been worn we will send the suit back to you without exchange or refund, and you will be banned from future purchases. Once received, a store credit gift card minus any shipping charges or discounts will be issued.
